- Fallkniven "Thor" bowie. Very Nordic indeed. It has a convex grind, which is very rare for hunting knives or kitchen knives; this feature is really only found in high-end hairdressing shears. Increases edge retention, but takes a bit more effort to sharpen on flat whetstones.

- Generic decorative damascus hunting knife. Doesn't look nor feel like it would hold an edge well.
- Japanese-style straight razor. The difference between these and normal straight razors is that it has a single bevel and it doesn't fold into its handle, as both the handle and blade is one piece of steel.
