Gallery - Blades with major chips

: Custom japanese-style vegetable knife by Titian Scheffer with a huge chip and fracture in the center. Luckily I was able to rescue it, but now the thickness behind the edge has gotten quite out of hand due to the sheer amount of steel which had to be removed. I do not have the equipment necessary to perform major thinning work unfortunately.
